2024 has been an exciting period of growth, recognition, and opportunity as we continue to drive innovation and impact in the electrified construction space.

We are extremly excited to announce that our hybrid tech is undergoing shake-down and long-cycle tests in the field. Striking a deal with the City of Uster we were able to make the jump from the lab to real-life, real-operator, real-usage testing in situ by construction company Keller-Frei. For now undercover, once we completed testing the road is paved for customer demos! Extremly proud of the 4QTechnicians for knocking this out of the park several months ahead of schedule.

Zurich continues to prove itself as a hub for exceptional talent. At the Hardware Meetup, we connected with Michael, who has now joined our team as a Systems Engineer. Combining expertise in machine learning, robotics, and electronics with his South African can-do attitude, Michael is already making a significant impact. Welcome aboard, Michael!

Winning the IMD Startup Competition was a major milestone for 4QT. With the brightest minds from the IMD MBA cohort, we now have a robust blueprint for our future expansion into the US market. Their insights and strategies have given us a clear roadmap to take 4QT to new heights overseas.

Market insights

Defence Sector: The Ukraine conflict continues to drive innovation and rising budgets in the defence space. We are actively seeking the right project to demonstrate our drivetrain technology’s potential in this critical market. Stratos (Swiss military media org) already published their interest in our tech.

Impact Sector: Cities and municipalities across Europe are facing increasing pressure—and allocating greater budgets—for green construction initiatives. The regulation driven market growth is ramping up sooner than expected which is great news.
